Dream has always been a very magical existence. Sometimes, dreaming is like opening a blind box, no one knows what it will be like, full of expectation, but also afraid of seeing bad results.
Of course, the most fearful thing is when I woke up the next day and someone said, “You talked in a sleep last night”, the inner anxiety:
“I actually said a dream?”
“You won’t tell your secrets, do you?!
In fact, talking in sleep is a very common thing.
In an epidemiological survey, 66.8% of people said that they had talked in sleep (this does not include a person who sleeps and doesn’t know that he or she said they didn’t talk in sleep), but only 6% of them frequently Talk in sleep, at least once a week.
So what are we going to say in our dreams?
The same curious scientists did an interesting study that revealed the truth of our dreams.
In a 2017 study, researchers recruited 232 “dream talkers” and asked them to stay in the laboratory for one to two days, and used EEG (electroencephalogram), EMG (electromyogram) and video Microphones and other devices record their dreams in all directions without blind spots, and analyze the content of their dreams in detail.
Researchers have found that most of the content of sleep talk is grammatical, which may indicate that the brain is still working diligently in sleep, achieving the achievement of “the moon doesn’t sleep, I don’t sleep, I am the little baby who stays up late”, and I promise you won’t let you say “I haven’t eaten the rice yet” sentences that make black people question marks.
In all the statistics of the words used in dream talk, the most frequently used word by the subjects is “no”, which is as high as 9%. However, when awake, the subjects said “no” only 0.4%. This may indicate that there are more negative scenes in the dream.
And in life, it is indeed a nightmare that everyone remembers more dreams. This is consistent with the theory of “evolutionary threat simulation theory”, which believes that dreams are a concrete simulation of human worries, so that humans can be trained and their survival rate can be increased in the face of real danger.
In addition, the researchers have an interesting finding: People are more likely to breathe fragrance when they are talking in sleep.
In daily life, the proportion of subjects speaking swearing is only 0.003%, but it directly increased by 800 times when dreaming, reaching 2.4%!
One possible explanation is: When dreaming, the frontal middle and lower cortex activities related to education are relatively insufficient. Although the brain is working hard, it is not running at full power. It is still lazy, leading to “I can’t control myself.
After all, the grievances that can’t be made during the day can not let people vent while sleeping?
As for whether the dream will tell the secret? Research tells us that we can relax our minds. Although dream talk is related to our lives, most of them are just a few words and emotional catharsis. It is impossible to betray us.
